Value in General Electric?

I’m addicted to watching General Electric’s (GE) stock each day. At today’s close it was $9.08 a share. This is a solid company who has their hands and all different sorts of products and sectors. Their earnings are lower due to the fact that the whole economy has slowed tremendously, but once we’re out of this recession they will be back on track. They have EXCELLENT & competent management in my opinion.
Currently they are paying a dividend of $0.31/share, which translates to an annual yield of 13.66%. They may or may not be able to maintain this just depends on how much worse the economy slows. They are still making more than they are paying out in dividends, but we’ll see how this quarter goes. I would scrounge around and try to come up with some money, but I’m kind of holding back to see if they cut their dividend over the next couple quarters. If they cut their dividend I have a feeling there will be a drop then a buying opportunity.
What’s your opinion on GE? A buy, hold, or sell now?
