Rebalancing my 401k for 2009

Today I changed what my 401k contributions purchase.  Previously they were purchasing 3 different mutual funds (2 mid-cap funds & 1 international fund).  I now have 100% going into a bond fund.  I’ve decided to give this fund a try because I would like to at least break-even in my 401k this year because I don’t see the market picking up until MAYBE the last part of ‘09.

PIMCO Total Return Admin (PTRAX) is the name of the fund and it has has a pretty steady return over it’s start in 1987.

When the market starts picking up again I’m planning to sell some of this bond fund and move into my other 3 mutual funds that are still being help, but not contributions made to them.  I should have almost $3K in this bond fund by the end of the year.  I’m just looking for somewhere to put my money in my 401k that isn’t as high risk as actual funds that invest in stocks.
