November 2008 Financial Status

Below is my income statement & balance sheet for November 2008. I’m a little late at getting it out but it’s out. With this being the first time in months that I’ve tracked my finances I really don’t have much to compare them to at the moment.
Income for November was $1,730.50. Misc. Income was from wedding gifts. Not too many expenses are showing up because no utilities bills for the month and honeymoon spending was on credit card and showed up in December.I paid several of mybills before my November 1st wedding so that is why my bills were so small at the end of the month.
With getting married we started merging our accounts together. I a little over $6k from my wife’s savings account, but she still has her own checking account until she can make it to a branch to close, which we don’t have a branch in the town we live in. Our net worth is now under -$15K. Last December, which was my last Net Worth check I had a net worth of almost -$21k. this would look like a stayed flat all year without getting married, but I saved all year, but not enough to offset my stock investments dropping.

Overall I’m stilly trying to get a grasp on our spending since we’re newly weds we’re having more expenses the first few months buying things that we need for the home that we didn’t receive at wedding showers.
I’m hoping that by January’s report I’ll start to be able to report more growth. December is Christmas and spending will probably be high.
