Rings are expensive, but the $4k includes the wedding band and engagement ring. This is tops of what I'm expecting to spend. I've checked a little into buying a diamond from bluenile.com, and getting a local jeweler place it into the ring I want. That way is about $700-$1k cheaper than buying the diamond I want locally.
