Not too much going on…

Not too much going on in my little personal finances. I will say that my spending so far this month has been minimal. I think I have about $80 charged on my credit card. Usually this at this point in the month I normally have about $150 charged, so I have cut my expenses in half. I have cut down on my eating out and I haven’t driven 2 1/2 hrs to see my girlfriend the past two weekends because of her being out of town the first weekend and last weekend she came to see me.

I have been taking sandwiches to work this week so I have not been dipping into my $10 a week budget for lunches because my mom bought the sandwiches :D

I’ve been busy and I haven’t had time to bring up some of my old post but that will come eventually, which most of you have read. I have a couple post in mind, but I haven’t had time to sit down and write them up yet. (haven’t made time)

Nice job keeping eating out to a minimum…I’ve been packing my lunch this week too…however, I did have ice cream (instead of lunch) today. Ben & Jerry’s is the best!

lol… I have to admit…today I went to KFC and spent most of my $10 budget for this weeks lunch. I couldn’t decided if I wanted honey bbq wings or boneless teriyaki… so i got both :D I still had a good week I think, since I’m off tomarrow :D

$10 for a whole week’s worth of lunch is impressive. I don’t know how some people spend so little on food! What do you actually eat for lunch to keep it to $1.50 a day?

When I say a one weeks lunch I mean Monday-Friday while I’m at work. I’m sorry I should have said that to begin with. I don’t usually pay for other supper and breakfast and weekends because my mom has food here at the house. (I’m still living at home). Last week I carried sandwiches from home, which I didn’t pay for.
As far as food I plan on buying when I don’t carry my lunch, here are a few items:
1. I can get a $0.89 hamburger from mcdonald’s and eat some chips that I have in the kitchen at work.
2. There’s always hotdogs.
3. Chicken Noodle soup
4. Ravioli
5. Red Barron Pizza singles.
6. Hot Pockets

I don’t have to eat to the point I’m full, just enough to hold me over until I get home which is usually only 3-4 hours after lunch.
